If you've lived long enough, there's at least one time in the year where you will feel and experience grief.
This is what I learned.
The Heart (just like the Mind) can only Truly Focus on One Thing at a time.
- If you are consumed by Grief, you lose your Ability to Love.
- And if you are consumed by Love, you lose your ability to grief.
- At least temporarily.
When you think about it, it makes sense..
- Grief is Love Lost. (at least it feels that way sometimes)
That's why Grief and Love can't coexist at the same time.
(To clarify, when I say Love or consumed by Love, I mean the Love you feel for your beloved, who is still living; and different from the person you're grieving.)
I hope this insight is helpful for you.
As with all things, Part of my Mission is to Offer Awareness.
Be well, dear one.. and know that you are loved..
